Ameesha Foundation is a humanitarian foundation in Jalingo, Taraba State, Nigeria, dedicated to improving the lives of mothers, children, and vulnerable families in underserved communities across North East Nigeria.
We operate as a grassroots nonprofit organization in Jalingo, where many families still face limited access to maternal care, nutrition, and basic social support.
We exist with a simple but urgent mission:
to provide care where it is missing, support where it is needed, and hope where it feels lost.
At the heart of everything we do is a strong belief that no mother in Jalingo or any part of Taraba State should face pregnancy alone, and no child should grow up without dignity, care, and basic support.
Ameesha Foundation began with a deep concern for the everyday struggles faced by families in rural and low-income communities across Taraba State and North East Nigeria—especially pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children affected by hunger and limited healthcare access.
What started as small community outreach efforts has grown into a structured and registered humanitarian organization in Jalingo, Taraba State, focused on maternal support, food relief programs, street feeding outreach, and family assistance initiatives.
Today, we continue to expand our reach across Taraba State, Nigeria, driven by compassion, trained volunteers, and strong community partnerships, working every day to restore dignity and hope to vulnerable families across North East Nigeria.
