Visit of NAPTIP Leadership for Collaboration with Ameesha Humanitarian Foundation
Ameesha Humanitarian Foundation recently hosted the leadership of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for a strategic engagement focused on strengthening collaboration in the fight against human trafficking and related abuses.
The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss practical ways of improving prevention, awareness, and community response to trafficking cases, especially in vulnerable and underserved communities.
Discussions centered on joint sensitization programs, improved community education, and stronger reporting and referral systems that can help protect children and young people before exploitation occurs.
NAPTIP also shared insights on current trafficking trends and the importance of early community reporting, while Ameesha Foundation highlighted its ongoing outreach efforts in schools and rural communities.
Both parties agreed on the need for stronger partnerships between government institutions and grassroots organizations to achieve lasting impact.
The visit marks an important step toward deeper collaboration aimed at protecting vulnerable people and building safer communities through awareness, education, and coordinated action.
